PRINCIPAL
Chris Cobb brings to Grass River over 30 years of experience spanning all phases of development from conceptual planning, land use entitlement, design, construction, marketing and sales.
Chris was former Vice President of Development for Flagler Real Estate Development Corporation, leading its joint venture with JP Morgan Strategic Property Fund to re-develop a 120-acre industrial property into the mixed-use community, Downtown Doral. Chris led the community master planning and land use entitlements process that included: 2,840 residential units, 400,000 sf of office, 180,000 sf of retail, 100,000 sf of civic space, a public park, and elementary school.
Prior to Flagler, Chris was Vice President of Development for the Ocean Club Development Company overseeing design and construction of its large residential condominium project in Key Biscayne, Florida comprising over 800 units in 11 residential buildings. Prior to Ocean Club, he was a Project Manager at Lennar Corporation in Miami, FL where he led planning and development of retail properties.
Chris also serves on the Board of Directors of the Durango Mountain Resort.
Chris received a Masters in Architecture from Tulane University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a licensed Architect and General Contractor.
